The Professional Plan, on the other hand, allows the company to view and directly contact all export managers, building a tailored team within the first week based on its strategic goals. Additionally, the Professional contract includes the ability to organize Impact Events (company presentation events open to all export managers), send promotional messages across the platform, and receive automatic recommendations of export managers relevant to the company’s needs.
What are Impact Events, and how can they help me expand my business?
Impact Events are online company presentations organized by suppliers with a Professional Plan and promoted to all professionals (export managers, business developers, and connected buyers) on the platform. They provide an opportunity to showcase your products or strategies to a curated network of international export managers, business developers, and buyers, facilitating expansion and creating strategic connections. At the end of each event, you can send samples and other promotional materials to participants to further engage them and facilitate immediate follow-ups.
Can I send direct communications to all buyers and export managers on the platform?
With the Professional Plan, you can send promotional communications to the entire platform or to specific segments. This allows you to directly reach targeted audiences, maximizing the visibility of your products or services and creating immediate business opportunities. For example, imagine sending a special campaign for holiday products with incentives for immediate sales.
I am a company. What is the cost of the Basic contract and the Professional Plan?
The Basic Planhas no monthly fees and provides passive visibility on the platform.
The Professional Plan costs €250 per month and includes a wide range of advanced tools, such as direct access to all export managers to build a team aligned with your growth strategies, the ability to organize company events, and the option to send promotional communications on the platform.
In both contracts, sales are rewarded through a commission system and entry fees set freely by the company.
I am an export manager. How does the compensation system work for export managers?
In both contracts (Basic and Professional), results are compensated with entry fees for each new client developed for a company and long-term commission fees. Except for a 2.5% retention by the platform, all compensation goes directly to the export managers who generate sales. This provides a strong incentive for export managers to maximize business opportunities for the company. For export managers, there are also additional earning opportunities. For example, consulting proposals from companies and the promotion of their professional services through a dedicated online event promoted across the entire platform.
I am an export manager. Does access to the platform cost anything for us?
No, access to the platform is completely free for export managers. You can register and start exploring business and networking opportunities right away, with no registration fees.
I am an export manager. Can I develop a trusted company of mine that is not yet on the platform using the network of relationships, online events, and contacts available on the platform?
For reasons of confidentiality and professional integrity, we recommend that export managers use the tools and opportunities on Business Connect exclusively for the companies present on the platform. Although this is not a contractual obligation, we believe it ensures respect and trust within our community. Naturally, the export manager may also provide access to a trusted company of their own, even on the Basic version, thus expanding its development opportunities.
I am a company. How can I accelerate expansion into international markets through Business Connect?
The presence of export managers with established, trusted relationships with foreign buyers allows you to quickly connect with decision-makers in target markets. This approach significantly reduces time and costs compared to traditional methods such as trade fairs or cold outreach, ensuring faster and more tangible results.
I am a company. If I choose the Basic plan, can I later switch to the Professional plan (or vice versa)?
Yes, you can switch between plans at any time with full flexibility to meet your growth needs. If you start with the Basic plan, you can upgrade to the Professional plan to access advanced features, such as proactive contact with export managers and organizing Impact Events. Similarly, if you are on the Professional plan and prefer to reduce costs, you can downgrade to the Basic plan, while still maintaining your company’s visibility on the platform. The change is immediate, allowing you to adapt seamlessly to your business needs.
I am a company. Can I permanently exit the platform, and what happens to existing negotiations with export managers?
Yes, you can choose to permanently exit the platform at any time. However, unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties at the time of exit, for all negotiations already underway before this decision, export managers will continue for 36 months to provide support outside the platform, and the commission-based system will remain active for these transactions. This approach is designed to protect export managers by ensuring that their efforts in developing new clients are valued, encouraging them to invest in long-term relationships, while also safeguarding companies so that exiting the platform does not risk losing the progress they have built. In this way, your company can benefit from completed negotiations even after leaving the platform, while export managers receive fair compensation for their work.
